Baby Shower Games
You’re baby shower is a great way to prepare for the baby with your friends and family while having a great time doing it. Here is some fun, inexpensive game ideas for your baby shower to get everyone involved!
Baby Shower BINGO
This game is great because it engages your guests during your gift opening. Simply print out some BINGO templates from online (make sure you have enough for everyone!) Fill in the registry items in the blank squares in random orders (make each template different). Hand out the templates to your guests before you begin opening your gifts. Have your guests mark off the registry gifts on their cards as you receive them, and whom ever gets the first complete straight or diagonal line wins! Purchase some inexpensive gift cards to Starbucks or iTunes for the prizes.
Baby Shower Twister
This game is especially fun for a co-ed baby shower. It is fairly simple, and utterly hilarious. The mother-to-be will sit this game out and laugh as the judge. All the participants will strap on a fanny pack and place wrist weights in the pack while at the same time shoving a pillow up their shirt. Have everyone play twister with their faux-pregnant bellies. The winner is the last one standing who managed to not go ‘belly-up’.
Don’t Call Me “Baby”
This is a fun game that is played throughout the entire shower and is highly interactive with your guests. As your guests arrive, hand each of them a diaper pin that they will put on their shirt. Explain to them that no one is allowed to say the word “baby” while at the shower. Those who slip up and utter the word “baby” (and many people will!) will have their pin taken away, that is if someone catches them slipping. When someone catches someone else saying the word “baby” the catcher will steal that persons pin and put in on their shirt. The person with the most pins at the end of the party wins. Have the prize be a cute vintage pin like a brooch.
